Official Steam trailer

Released October 20, 2026 alongside the store page. The developer's summary: direct forces across Los Angeles on the operations map, zoom into the battlefield to command troops or take direct control, deploy infantry and armor, insert troops by helicopter, build forward operating bases, and call in air and naval support. What the footage shows

  • Look: a 3D world drawn as pixel art, top-down, with destructible buildings. The developer calls it a "3D pixel-art zombie survival RTS." Dev
  • Scale: one continuous map of the wider LA metro. The developer drew the boundary short of Anaheim ("sorry, Anaheim!"). Dev
  • Speed: combat can be paused to plan orders or run up to 4x between attacks. Dev
  • Modes: several video descriptions call Ebbtide "a zombie survival RTS with survivor and commander modes." The modes have not been explained further yet. Dev
  • Status: every upload is labeled "early development footage." Expect changes.

Best single video: the operations map

"From the LA Operations Map to the Battlefield" (Oct 16) is the clearest look at the core loop: naval commands and fighter support from the map, Apache orders and a flight across the city, then armored ground units, including a tank that has to be resupplied before its main gun fires again. Dev
